Andisheh Center set up an Iranian art and culture public display in the Beaverton City Mayor's office floor in Beaverton between September 12th and 30th, 2011. This "light" introduction to Iranian heritage was organized with assistance by our volunteers and special organization by Ano's Art Academy of Beaverton. A number of artistic and cultural pieces were loaned by members of the local Iranian community for display. This opportunity came about as a result of a suggestion by Ano Yousefian, one of Andisheh Center's advisory Council members. She was instrumental in securing the place and worked diligently with us to set it up. Please see the photos for the pieces displayed. We hope to do more of these types of events in the Portland metro area.
